About
The problem it solves ## 🔗 Ubiw: Bridging Web2 and Web3 As **web3** and the **Ethereum ecosystem** evolve, user adoption remains a challenge compared to web2. **Ubiw** addresses this by simplifying the **user experience (UX)** and **user interface (UI)** through **Account Abstraction**, making blockchain accessible without requiring deep technical knowledge. ### 🚀 Simplified Blockchain Interaction Ubiw's **information-sharing platform dapp** allows users to **create rooms** to share content, with the option to charge access fees. Each user account functions as a **smart account**, similar to an **EOA wallet**, but can be logged in using **social networks** like Gmail, Facebook, Twitter, or phone numbers. This removes the need for managing **secret phrases** and passwords, with account recovery possible through social network permissions instead of risking complete loss due to a leaked secret phrase. ### ⚡ Seamless and Gas-Free These **smart accounts** enable users to interact with the **Ethereum network** and other **EVM chains**, join rooms, and make payments—all transparently on the blockchain. Ubiw eliminates the hassle of **gas fees** with a **smart contract paymaster**, further streamlining the experience. ### 🔒 Privacy with Zero Knowledge Proof Ubiw integrates **Zero Knowledge Proof (ZKP)** to verify Twitter account ownership without compromising privacy, ensuring accounts are securely verified on the smart contract. While new features are in development, Ubiw's core functionalities are already enhancing the web3 user experience. --- Ubiw is making blockchain more **user-friendly** and accessible, easing the transition for web2 users into the web3 world.
How it's made
Challenges we ran into Developing this project presented significant challenges, particularly in understanding the ERC-4337 (Account Abstraction) structure, a relatively new architectural layer within the Ethereum ecosystem. With limited information and few practical examples available, navigating this aspect was quite difficult during the dApp development process. However, the Particle Network provided a clear and practical architecture that greatly assisted our team in implementing Account Abstraction. Their innovative Threshold Secret Sharing key management system was especially beneficial. Additionally, integrating various components such as Proof of Twitter (Zero Knowledge Proof), account abstraction wallets, and a JWT server for signing Web3 signatures to authenticate users posed numerous difficulties. Despite these obstacles, we successfully connected and deployed all elements, ensuring a stable and functional dApp.
