The problem it solves - Most Web 2 subscription platforms out there for content creators like Patreon, Onlyfans, Substack etc offer monthly/weekly/yearly paid memberships making it very rigid for creators to monetize basis their content, as they have to hook their audiences to a timebound paid plan rather than monetizing the content itself - Not every follower in the audience wants to sign up for a paid membership rather would be willing to pay for content they find of value - Web 2 transactions aren’t truly global or borderless - payment gateways and middle man layers restrict access to exclusive content - No easy way to monetize individual content seamlessly with digital currencies
How it's made
Challenges we ran into Keeping track of wallets that have access to different posts and maintaining a db that fetches the right state from the blockchain.
