About
The problem it solves Our mission is to help people find jobs they love and to empower employers to build world changing teams. Gig-gly's token-based system incentivizes networking, community building, and sharing job opportunities. 10% of all referral bounties are donated to local and global non-profit organizations focused on social impact. Users are given ownership to the network via the token ($GTR - Giggly Token Rewards). Users receive tokens when they set up their professional profiles, share job opportunites and refer candidates to employers. Employers set Referral Reward Bounties that are paid to us in fiat and then we convert fiat into crypto to reward our community (users). Our treasury will hold a mixed basket of crypto from our client accounts who have their own tokens. In addition to the various crypto tokens and NFT's from our client projects we will also hold MATIC, ETH and BTC in our treasury. Our users will benefit from the increase in value of our $GTR token which will have multiple revenue streams: 10% of Reward Bounties, SaaS fees for our Applicant Tracking System, Marketplace Listing Fees along with staking and gains from our various token holdings. Gig-gly will support social impact initiatives focused on the homeless, food banks, mental health, at-risk youth, second chance programs, human rights and free education initiatives. We will help non-profit organizations to set up their own crypto wallets to enable them to also participate in the benefits of web3 through our crypto donations to them.
How it's made
Challenges we ran into We needed to be able to easily get an overview of all our token's transactions, in order to achieve that we are using Alchemy.io. Also we needed to keep track of all our transactions's errors, we set-up Sentry.io for that purpose.
