The problem it solves Our decentralized media project aims to combat fake news and disinformation in a platform that prioritizes privacy, censorship resistance, and user autonomy. It makes existing tasks of accessing and disseminating information easier, safer, and more transparent, empowering individuals to be active participants in the media landscape.
How it's made
Challenges we ran into We encountered challenges with the reputation system, where users could exploit the voting mechanism to artificially boost their reputation. To address this, we implemented various countermeasures, such as weighted voting based on user reputation. Regular audits and continuous refinement of the reputation system helped ensure its integrity and fairness.
