    About

The problem it solves Traditional data marketplaces enforce a heavy amount of commission fees leading to overpriced data sets. Along with that, comes other problems which include lack of genuine ownership, breeding data silos which ultimately deters progress of technological and scientific research. We aim to leverage blockchain technology to create a peer-to-peer platform where individuals and entities can securely, transparently, and without intermediary barriers, trade valuable data. Blockchain technology primarily provides these 3 benefits: (1)Immutability - once a dataset is added to a block and the block is appended to the blockchain, the information becomes immutable. This helps ensure the integrity of the data, as it can't be altered without altering all subsequent blocks, which is computationally infeasible. (2)Transparency - all participants in the network have access to the blockchain and can verify the datasets themselves. This increases trust among data providers and consumers. (3)Security - Blockchain's cryptographic algorithms ensure that data is securely stored and transmitted, reducing the risks of data breaches.

    How it's made

Challenges we ran into The difficulty of grasping the concepts and deployment of web3 elements in the short amount of 2 days. Tasks were distributed among the teammates, we managed to get a substantial amount of the front end done, however grasping the newly learn web3 skills is hard. We managed to set up the wallets and deploy contracts using remix, but integrating became a problem and we did not manage to complete the whole project by the end of the competition, just individual working components.
