    About

The problem it solves Privacy has always been a shortcoming of Bitcoin TXs. However now with Bitvm Trustless bridges coming to the scene (eg. citrea, strata) that do EVM execution layer, we can imagine a private L2 on Bitcoin that maintains exact Bitcoin script rules and follows a privacy pools/aztec private state model (utxo tree + nullifier tree). This allows Bitcoin users to send their UTXOs to the bridge and mint a private state that allows them to interact with each other privately within the shielded pool.
