About
Eth Transport is a decentralized transport infrastructure platform connecting real-world road incidents, services, payments, identity, and verifiable evidence. For ETHGlobal, we are building Eth Transport's Zigel, a trusted ETH↔FIL transport payment workflow: World ID verifies a unique human at critical trust moments; ENSv2 provides human, organization, and agent identities; 1inch and Uniswap provide DeFi swap and liquidity infrastructure; Intercepta screens transactions before users sign; and IPFS/Filecoin stores tamper-evident transport evidence, receipts, and incident data. The result is an end-to-end workflow where a human or authorized agent can initiate a transport action, securely move value, and leave a verifiable decentralized record.
How it's made
We built Eth Transport’s Zigel as a modular Web3 application that connects a real-world transport workflow to identity, DeFi, security, and decentralized storage. The frontend orchestrates the user journey from a transport event or service request through human verification, identity resolution, payment, security screening, settlement, and evidence storage. World ID / IDKit is integrated at consequential trust moments to verify that the requester is a unique human rather than using proof of humanity as a simple login. ENSv2 provides human-readable identities and namespaces for users, organizations, transport services, and future agents. This gives the payment and authorization flow an identity layer beyond raw wallet addresses. For payments, we integrate 1inch for the Ethereum-side swap/routing workflow and Uniswap for DeFi liquidity and programmable swap infrastructure. We connect this with our existing Filecoin/IPFS transport infrastructure, allowing payments and services to produce decentralized, content-addressed receipts and evidence. A key hackathon integration is Intercepta directly before transaction signing. Instead of checking security after a transaction happens, we screen the wallet/transaction/contract at the moment of authorization and expose the result before the user signs. This creates a security gate between payment intent and execution. Underneath, the application combines Ethereum smart-contract interactions, wallet signing, ENS resolution, World ID verification, DeFi APIs/protocols, IPFS CIDs, and Filecoin persistence. Existing Transport DAO modules provide incident reporting, transport asset data, alarms, governance, and decentralized evidence storage. The particularly hacky part is treating all these sponsor technologies as one trust pipeline rather than separate integrations: World ID → ENS identity → payment intent → 1inch/Uniswap → Intercepta security check → transaction authorization → IPFS/Filecoin evidence. This lets a human or future autonomous transport agent move from a verified real-world action to a secure financial transaction and finally to a verifiable decentralized record, while keeping each technology responsible for a distinct part of the trust model.
