About

Xenia is slashable-stake infrastructure for AI agents, named after Greek guest-friendship. Agents register as *.xenia.eth (ENS namehash on Sepolia). A host locks ETH behind an agent and sets a premium; the agent pays that trust fee to keep coverage live. If the agent defaults, stake can be slashed to the victim after a dispute window. The Graph indexes registry events into standing scores (premiums up, defaults/slashes down). Hedera is not the stake ledger — it meters API access: POST /xenia/check returns HTTP 402 until ~0.001 HBAR settles via x402/Blocky402, then returns standing. Live demo theater runs mint → stake → premium → default → slash → Pay HBAR → decide (transact vs refuse).

How it's made

Xenia is a pnpm monorepo: Foundry Solidity for XeniaRegistry on Sepolia; Next.js + wagmi/viem/RainbowKit for apps/web and the CRT-style apps/demo theater; Fastify for apps/api; AssemblyScript subgraph; optional MCP standing tool. ENS gives each agent a *.xenia.eth handle. Registration stores the namehash on-chain; scripts set backing text records (xenia.host, stake, premium) and demo host-only EAC so non-hosts can’t rewrite trust metadata. The Graph indexes registry events into standing: clamp(50 + 10×premiums − 25×defaults − 40×slashes). Product UI and the demo Decide step read Studio GraphQL — not raw RPC — so scores stay queryable after slash. Hedera is only for API metering. Stake never leaves Sepolia. POST /xenia/check returns HTTP 402; the client signs an exact HBAR transfer with @x402/hedera, Blocky402 settles ~0.001 HBAR, then standing is returned. Demo Run requires pnpm dev:api after the slash path. The demo orchestrator mints fresh agent wallets each Run, funds them from a host key, and streams NDJSON over SSE into the theater. Notable hack: payer ≠ payTo (self-transfer nets to 0 under x402), so we auto-provision a distinct testnet payer and cache it; Decide also polls the subgraph so A’s ~60 isn’t race-zeroed like B’s post-slash 0.
