Censorship-resistant, crowdsourced, decentralized Wiki built on Walrus

    Demo

    About

By leveraging Walrus's decentralized storage protocol on the Sui blockchain, this lets users easily, through WYSIWYG editor, share articles in a permissionless and censorship-resistant way. Walrus ensures that content is stored across a trustless network, making it virtually impossible for any single entity—be it a government, ISP, or a platform—to censor or erase information. This project aligns with the vision of Web3, where users control their data and knowledge is preserved without gatekeepers. It addresses real-world challenges like information suppression and data vulnerability while promoting transparency and community governance.

    How it's made

    - Each submitted article is stored in Walrus network - Static frontend is built with React and deployed to Netlify - Articles are uploaded and read via Walrus's HTTP API - A ledger of all submitted articles is stored in a JSONBin database. A real solution could include smart contract or a Walrus Site tracking submitted articles
