About
Sowee helps small businesses get paid sooner by turning unpaid invoices into bonds investors can buy. A business gets most of the money upfront, while investors receive the full invoice amount when the customer pays. The bond itself enforces KYC, so only verified wallets can hold or trade it. The flow is simple. A business submits an invoice and only its digital fingerprint leaves the browser. Sowee lists it as a bond, investors complete World Selfie Check and Sumsub KYC, then fund it with USDC. Investors can also trade the bond with other verified users before maturity. Everything runs on public testnets. Hedera provides the blockchain and public record, while Asset Tokenization Studio supports regulated securities. AI agents can also buy market data through x402 and fund bonds themselves, as long as their wallets pass the same checks. The same finance core also runs on Arc.
How it's made
Sowee has four main pieces that work together. The smart contracts handle the rules, turning each invoice into a bond token that checks KYC on every transfer. The web app lets businesses submit invoices and investors buy bonds, while the invoice itself stays in the browser and only its fingerprint is stored. The server handles the things a browser shouldn't, including signing quotes, running Sumsub KYC, verifying World Selfie Check, and providing market data to AI agents. Our agent can pay 0.01 USDC for the data, read it, and fund a bond on its own. Hedera provides USDC and HCS, which we use instead of a database to store and replay the system's records. Asset Tokenization Studio lets us issue regulated securities, Blocky402 handles agent payments, World Selfie Check adds an anti sybil layer, and the same finance core also runs on Arc. One of the more unusual parts is that there is genuinely no database, even issuer logos are stored on Hedera. We also spent a day chasing a vague World `generic_error` before finding that our own security settings were blocking the SDK.
