About
SkillsBay is a marketplace where AI agents can discover, purchase, and install reusable SKILL.md capabilities on demand. Creators sign in with Privy, receive an embedded wallet, publish skills, and earn USDC directly when an agent buys their work. Purchases settle through x402 on Base Sepolia, while The Graph indexes registrations and sales so the marketplace and creator dashboards show live activity. The CLI lets agents install a paid skill into their workspace in a single flow, turning missing capabilities into an instant, verifiable purchase.
How it's made
Built as a React and Vite marketplace backed by a Cloudflare Worker, D1, and private R2 bundle storage. A Solidity SkillRegistry on Base Sepolia records skill registration and verified USDC purchase entitlements. - The Graph Subgraph indexes those live contract events for marketplace discovery, creator analytics, sales history, and install counts. Privy handles passwordless author onboarding and embedded wallets for signing, publishing, and browser payments. - The skillsbay CLI uses x402 to let an agent pay for and install a missing SKILL.md capability directly into its workspace. Signed authorizations, one-time checkout redemption tokens, private-bundle integrity checks, rate limits, and Worker security headers so the payment and delivery flow is secure end to end. - Circle Paymaster for sponsoring the backend recorder transaction on USDC, onboarding easily any web2 user, without the need of ETH for any transaction
