About
Ratib is a governed finance-operations platform for businesses working with digital assets. It brings wallets, payments, approvals, invoices, automation, reconciliation, reporting, and audit evidence into one shared workspace. Instead of forcing finance teams to coordinate transactions across wallet interfaces, spreadsheets, messaging apps, and accounting tools, Ratib turns each financial action into a structured, traceable workflow. A team can organize wallets by company, review payment requests, apply internal approval rules, execute deterministic batch operations, monitor transaction status, and reconcile onchain activity with its business context. Every action is scoped to the organization and recorded as append-only evidence, giving operators and reviewers a clear history of what was requested, who approved it, which policy applied, and what eventually settled. Ratib deliberately separates business permissions from cryptographic authority. Ratib manages roles, workflow approvals, policy previews, and operational records, but those roles never grant signing power. Privy remains the final authority through embedded wallets, owners, signers, quorum rules, MFA-backed approvals, and provider-enforced policies. Transactions currently settle in USDC on Base Sepolia, so the prototype is clearly testnet-only. The long-term vision is to become the operational layer between programmable money and modern finance teams—expanding into invoice checkout, transaction simulation, recovery and gas management, developer APIs, accounting connectors, forecasting, fiat accounts, global payouts, cards, and qualified custody partnerships.
How it's made
Ratib is built with SvelteKit and TypeScript on the frontend, with Convex providing the real-time database, server functions, scheduled automation, and append-only audit history. Privy supplies embedded wallets, verified user identity, owner/signer configuration, policy enforcement, MFA-backed approvals, and secure transaction execution. Transactions settle using USDC on Base Sepolia. The key architectural decision was separating finance workflow from wallet authority: Ratib coordinates requests, roles, approvals, policy previews, and reconciliation, while Privy remains the final signing authority. Every operation is organization-scoped and follows a strict state machine. Deterministic run keys and idempotent actions prevent duplicate payments, while verified webhooks reconcile onchain results back into Convex.
