About
Privent is a security and execution layer that lets a company give an AI agent bounded access to a treasury — without ever giving the AI a private key. It is not a trading bot, a wallet, or “an AI that spends crypto.” The product thesis is: AI agents should receive financial authority, not unrestricted access to company funds. The AI decides what it wants to do. A deterministic policy engine decides whether it may do it. An isolated signer decides whether a transaction can actually be authorized. The blockchain decides whether it settles. Humans keep control of anything irreversible or high-risk. Every step is audited. That split is the whole point. You never trust the model to enforce its own security.
How it's made
pnpm TS monorepo: Next.js, Hono API, isolated signer. OpenRouter GPT-4o-mini proposes JSON; policy ALLOW/REQUIRE_APPROVAL/DENY. The Graph, Privy, ENS feed live data. Keys live in a separate Node process that re-reads SQLite, re-runs policy, then viem-broadcasts to Sepolia. Hack: signer never trusts the API.
