    About

In an AI-slop world, human attention is the scarcest resource. Placed is a global marketplace for attention, that connects advertising space with brands and investors. Anyone can list an ad-space they control (eg. clothing, X-banner, billboard space etc.) and make it discoverable to brands worldwide. Open auctions let brands worldwide bid on ad space, helping owners discover what it’s worth and earn from advertisers beyond their existing audience or local market. Placed makes small, unconventional sponsorships easier to discover, compare and book. Space owners upload photos, define ad slots on their space through interactive 3D models, and auction ads slots for defined periods. Brands discover spaces, preview their ads on the models, and bid to book campaigns. A portion of the winning bid stays in escrow subject to release upon verification of campaign completion by AI image verification. For spaces with recurring advertising potential, space owners can raise capital by tokenizing a share of their space's future advertising income. Investors purchase and trade revenue-share ad-space tokens through Uniswap CCA, creatomg price discovery for future revenue claims. Advertisement payments are split between the space-owner and the tokenholders’. Placed connects scarce advertising opportunities with global demand: helping creators earn more from the surfaces they control, brands find novel ways to get noticed, and investors access sponsorship revenue.

    How it's made

Placed runs on Ethereum Sepolia, with a Next.js, React and TypeScript frontend. Its Three.js studio lets creators import or generate models through Meshy, position sponsor artwork on surfaces, and publish those placements as listings. Privy handles wallets, Viem manages contract interactions. Space-owners list advertising space, and brands bid for it in USDC. A smart contract holds bids, lets outbid brands withdraw their funds, and releases payments as the campaign is fulfilled. Uniswap — fundraising, price discovery and trading. Space-owners can optionally launch a fixed-supply ERC-20 representing a defined share of an asset’s advertising revenue over a fixed term. CCA distributes tokens and discovers their initial price. Successful launches use the Liquidity Launchpad strategy to allocate reserved tokens and part of the proceeds to a v4 trading pool, with available remaining proceeds paid to the creator. World ID — limiting duplicate-account abuse. IDKit provides human-verification proofs that the backend validates and binds to participant wallets. This makes duplicate-account spam and self-bidding through multiple wallets harder, without collecting legal names. It verifies participant uniqueness, not asset ownership or fulfillment. ENSv2 — identifiable inventory and controlled artwork updates. Assets and ad slots receive consistent names linking to metadata, artwork and revenue-token references. Dedicated slot resolvers let winning advertisers update only their own placement’s artwork; completion or refund revokes that permission. These shared records also provide a foundation for future integrations with other applications.
