About
OtterPot is a Telegram-native platform for friend challenges with a shared prize pool on ARC. Users can create or join challenges directly from Telegram, while funds are held in an onchain ChallengePool smart contract. The contract coordinates deposits, withdrawals, and payouts through a separate TreasuryVault, enabling a simple, transparent, and social way to manage pooled funds without leaving Telegram.
How it's made
OtterPot is built as a monorepo with TypeScript, Rust, Shell, Solidity, CSS, and JavaScript. The core onchain logic is implemented in Rust, while the app experience is delivered through a Next.js frontend and a Telegram Mini App interface. A backend worker/service handles Telegram integration and automation, and the smart contracts manage challenge state plus vault operations on ARC. The project was assembled to keep the user flow lightweight and conversational, while still relying on onchain contracts for fund custody and execution.
