    About

OpenX Portal is a context layer for autonomous DeFi lending agents. Instead of making every agent reconstruct market state from raw RPC calls and unstructured data, OpenX uses The Graph to retrieve indexed Aave V3 Arbitrum market data, including hourly deposits, borrows, utilization, and variable rates. It turns that data into a compact, deterministic risk context: LTV, health factor, utilization, kink headroom, 24-hour volatility, risk band, and a recommended action. The result is available in the Portal UI and through a public Context-as-a-Service API. Other agents can request either a structured vector or a short prompt-ready context card, without receiving wallets, API keys, raw provider responses, or private report data. OpenX explicitly marks unavailable or malformed provider data as degraded rather than presenting synthetic success.

    How it's made

OpenX Portal combines a Next.js dashboard, a Node.js/Express Gateway, and a Python DeFi lending researcher. The researcher queries The Graph’s Aave V3 Arbitrum deployment through GraphQL and normalizes the live Market and MarketHourlySnapshot schema. It derives utilization from indexed deposit and borrow balances, reads lender and borrower variable rates, and calculates a 24-hour utilization-volatility signal. The researcher enforces a 40% LTV safety cap before submission and creates a deterministic APSD-L statement with a SHA-256 content hash. The Gateway validates reports with Zod, persists safe projections in SQLite, and exposes a redacted public context endpoint plus a prompt-prefix endpoint for other agents. The Portal renders the resulting report and lets users copy the agent-ready context. We verified the full flow with live Aave data: Graph ingestion returned ok, the Gateway accepted a public statement, and the public context API returned fresh telemetry.
