    OECL

Verified evidence infrastructure for Ethereum agents and protocol composition research.

    About

OECL is an evidence infrastructure layer for Ethereum protocol research. It turns standardized live blockchain observations into machine-readable EvidenceReceipts that downstream agents, research systems and composition engines can admit or reject deterministically. During ETHOnline, OECL extended its pre-existing scientific laboratory with a standardized ERC-8004 observation pipeline powered by The Graph across Ethereum, Base, BNB Chain, Polygon and Monad. Each observation is independently checked against chain state before OECL classifies it as ADMISSIBLE, REJECTED or INCOMPLETE. Verified protocol presence is deliberately kept separate from compatibility or composition claims.

    How it's made

OECL’s ETHOnline extension is built primarily in TypeScript with Next.js and React. A single standardized GraphQL query is reused across five Agent0 ERC-8004 mainnet deployments through The Graph. For each observation, OECL preserves indexed-block provenance and independently queries the corresponding chain through JSON-RPC, checking chain identity, block hash, Identity Registry runtime code and sampled agent ownership. A pure deterministic admission engine then maps available evidence to VERIFIED/ADMISSIBLE, MISMATCH/REJECTED or INCOMPLETE. Each result is exposed as a machine-readable EvidenceReceipt through an API and the web interface. The existing OECL V2.1 scientific corpus remains separate and deterministic; live evidence does not rewrite prior conclusions.
