About
# Ideally On-Chain Game Should Have: - Provable Gameplay - Community Governance - Immutable Ownership - Forkability + Mods But the current infrastructure doesn't allow this to happen because: - Expensive Compute - Tech Constraints - Tick Rate - Poor UX/DevX ## Micro Rollups Building Micro Rollups can leverage the power of programming languages like Javascript and speed of web2 while facilitiating the verifiablitiy on-chain. Stackr protocol allows building such micro rollups that we used. # Mesh Micro Rollups: Forkablity + Mods for On-Chain Games It provides the features like Game Forking instanenously from user's end without going through lots of hassels in Smart Contract Forking & Chain Forking. Forking & Mods will allow any user to create a fork of the state on L2 and start a new state transitions for their demands. This is similar to authors writing fiction and cults driving the fan-fiction versions from it. **Links** - [https://github.com/tusharojha/mesh-mirco-rollup](https://github.com/tusharojha/mesh-mirco-rollup) - [https://github.com/storylok/storylok](https://github.com/storylok/storylok) - [https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1ZOqSvEKxu1LddVct8u0BHo3LE8JSgGRG/edit?usp=sharing&ouid=103068153864256870934&rtpof=true&sd=true](https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1ZOqSvEKxu1LddVct8u0BHo3LE8JSgGRG/edit?usp=sharing&ouid=103068153864256870934&rtpof=true&sd=true)
How it's made
Building the Rollup infrastructure requried to ship multiple components at the same time, and managing was a bit of hassel.
