MESH
I am building MESH a privacy native decentralised micropayments system.
Demo
About
MESH was built as a decentralized payment orchestration layer using Solidity, Foundry, Node.js, Express and ethers.js. The smart-contract layer uses session accounts and scoped session keys so autonomous payment actors can operate under programmable authorization instead of receiving unrestricted wallet access. Spending caps, expiration times and revocation are enforced on-chain. The Node.js API acts as the orchestration layer, creating agents, coordinating payments and reading live policy state from the blockchain. We built nonce tracking to support reliable back-to-back autonomous payments and custom Solidity-error decoding to make contract failures understandable. The demo currently uses USDC-compatible tokens and a deployed contract environment, with the architecture designed to move toward higher-volume stablecoin micropayments and privacy-preserving infrastructure. A notable hack was separating agent orchestration from asset ownership: the agent can act autonomously, while the smart contract remains the enforcement boundary controlling what it can actually spend.
How it's made
MESH was built with Solidity and Foundry for the on-chain layer, using smart-contract-based session accounts, scoped spending policies and USDC payments. An Express/Node.js API with ethers.js provides the orchestration layer and demo interface, connecting autonomous agents to the contracts. We also implemented custom error handling, nonce management and an on-chain revocation kill switch to make repeated autonomous micropayments reliable while keeping authorization enforced by the contracts.
