About
We built private prediction markets that let small groups bet on events that cannot be covered by traditional prediction markets. The way it works is someone in the group can create a market with a description describing anything they want to bet on. Then, the members of the group can purchase contracts betting on a certain outcome, and once the outcome has happened someone can submit a photo as "proof" of the outcome. If the photo proves either the "Yes" or "No" decisions on the market the market will resolve and the bettors will be paid out.
How it's made
We used Privy to allow for easy onboarding by automatically creating and funding wallets for our users, and we used Bazantic to seamlessly integrate API calls from Privy and our own app. This allows humans and agents alike to use our platform. We built our own prediction markets from scratch on Solana, with pricing determined by an AMM with an LMSR algorithm. We used the OpenAI image API to create a description for the submitted resolution image, which is sanitized and passed back into the API to create a resolution for the market with a confidence level. We also support notifications through Telegram to notify users of important shifts in their predictions and groups.
