About
Gotrade is an autonomous DeFi agent platform controlled through WhatsApp. Users can register, view live wallet balances, analyze markets, manage AI agents, configure risk limits, and execute blockchain actions using natural-language commands. Gotrade combines conversational AI with deterministic safety policies, live onchain data, user-controlled wallets, Uniswap execution, and MongoDB-backed auditability. It is designed to make DeFi more accessible while ensuring agents cannot exceed user-defined trading limits or silently report simulated success.
How it's made
Gotrade uses FastAPI and Python for the backend, MongoDB with Motor for asynchronous persistence, Redis for service support, and a Next.js/TypeScript frontend. The WhatsApp gateway uses Twilio webhooks and TwiML, while Gemini interprets natural-language commands with deterministic regex fallbacks. Coinbase Developer Platform wallet infrastructure and an existing EVM wallet provide wallet access, Web3.py reads live Sepolia balances, and Uniswap v3 supplies onchain quotes and execution paths. The architecture is fail-closed: unavailable providers, missing credentials, unsupported services, or failed transactions produce explicit errors rather than fake success. Docker Compose runs MongoDB and Redis, while ngrok exposes the local webhook for live testing.
