Use case for the hackathon: End-user uploads files to Filecoin storage through Lighthouse provider via Telegram bot & WebApp interfaces. Problem: - Telegram Cloud is centralized. Ex.: If you lose your account - you lose all your data - It’s slow (upload/download) - File size limit of 2Gb (which is pretty good for a messenger app, but still not sufficient) - No guaranteed storage period. Your data may become unavailable at any time Solution: A decentralized Filecoin storage via Telegram interface that is truly yours. Store and share ANY Files of ANY Size for ANY Time you need. - Accessible from everywhere for ANY app or service - Keep track of all your uploaded Filecoin files (local index) - Private and Secure: A)we don’t have an access to you files; B)dApp runs completely on users device Value Proposition: Convenient (quick & simple) access to Filecoin's decentralized storage to ~1B Telegram users. Next Steps (after hackathon): - Integration in CTRL Wallet App - Shared storage for Telegram Communities - Built-in encryption (encrypt file before uploading it to Filecoin) - Backup all data from Telegram account to Filecoin storage (chat history, photos and other media)
