About
FACTORA is an autonomous agent-to-agent marketplace for invoice financing. Businesses list unpaid invoices as financing proposals, after which an AI Underwriter Agent evaluates the debt document, derives its economics, prices the credit risk, and uses live DeFi market data from The Graph to establish a capital hurdle rate. A Buyer/Investor Agent evaluates opportunities, negotiates discount terms, and decides whether to finance them. Agents can also pay for underwriting, reports, and market intelligence per API call through x402 on Hedera, without API keys or subscriptions. Once financed, the receivable is tokenized and managed on Hedera through Asset Tokenization Studio, covering issuance, compliance, clearing, settlement, and maturity, with HCS providing a verifiable audit trail.
How it's made
FACTORA is built as two connected services: a main TypeScript/Express application containing the marketplace, proposal service, Buyer/Matchmaking logic, AI Underwriter Agent, The Graph integrations, x402 payment layer, and World ID Selfie Check gate; and a dedicated factored-hedera Fastify sidecar that acts as the Hedera execution boundary. The Underwriter uses an OpenAI-compatible LLM with strict evidence-based tool calling, while The Graph provides live Messari-standardized subgraph data and Subgraph MCP queries for market yields used in pricing. Paid agent-to-agent services use the x402 protocol on Hedera with the exact scheme and Blocky402 facilitator, producing on-chain payment receipts. The Hedera sidecar uses the Asset Tokenization Studio SDK and Hedera SDK for receivable security issuance, KYC, clearing, settlement, and maturity operations, with HCS recording the lifecycle audit trail. World ID Selfie Check provides an identity and anti-Sybil signal at proposal creation. A notable implementation choice is the hard boundary between agents and Hedera: agents never construct ATS transactions, sign Hedera transactions, or manage role configuration.
