    FaceGate

Stop credential sharing with privacy-preserving face auth. Zero biometric data stored. 3-line SDK.

    About

FaceGate is a credential sharing prevention SDK for subscription platforms, powered by World ID Selfie Check. It treats face identity as a continuity and abuse-prevention signal,, confirming the same person returns on every login, not just the same password. Streaming platforms lose $9.1 billion annually to credential sharing. FaceGate fixes this with three lines of integration. Zero biometric data stored anywhere, only cryptographic nullifiers. One API key powers multiple platforms with full nullifier isolation across apps.

    How it's made

Built with Next.js, MongoDB, and Privy auth for the server, deployed on Vercel. The SDK is published as @facegate/sdk on npm. World ID Selfie Check handles liveness detection and ZK proof generation entirely on-device. FaceGate's server holds the World ID RP credentials, generates RP signatures, verifies ZK proofs with World's API, and stores only nullifiers in MongoDB, no biometric data. Each developer gets a unique action string for nullifier isolation across platforms. Demo integration built as a Netflix-style app showing full signup and login flow with Selfie Check.
