This project uses a straightforward UI to allow a nontechnical individual to create a simple DAO, where individuals can join, create proposals, vote with a predetermined quorum, and grow in governance rank based on participation. Features are customizable upon initiation. Smart contracts can be upgraded over time when members reach consensus on proposals.
How it's made
This project used Reach Platform to create a blockchain agnostic application with only 350 lines of code. this application is deployed to Optimism, Polygon, Moonbeam, and Klaytn. here's the app: - Create a DAO - each DAO has its own rules; some can require a membership fee, and some may not - Predetermine voting quorum DAO Actions: - Check if I am a member - Check my rank (if I am a member) - Create a proposal - Check current proposal info - Short text post (128 chars) - Comment on text post (256 chars) - Join - Leave - Register a proposal - Support a proposal - Oppose a proposal
