About
A social platform for artists with crypto payments powered by Privy. Artists can create personal profiles, showcase their work, and offer multiple commission options with different price ranges, scopes, and requirements. Buyers can create their own profiles, browse and search for artists, visit an artist’s page, choose a commission option, and submit a request describing what they want. The artist can review the request, accept it and send the buyer a payment proposal through Privy, or decline and close the request. Once the payment is completed, the commission moves into an active order workflow where both sides can track its status until delivery and completion.
How it's made
The project uses Privy for wallet authentication and blockchain transactions, Python for the core application logic and data processing, and JavaScript for the interactive frontend. Privy simplifies wallet onboarding and provides a clean way to connect users with on-chain functionality, while Python handles backend logic, data transformation, and communication between different parts of the application. JavaScript powers the user-facing experience and connects frontend actions to blockchain operations. The overall architecture is designed to keep the experience simple and Web2-like while still supporting asynchronous wallet interactions and blockchain transactions behind the scenes.
