About
Autonomous AI Service Router lets AI agents discover and use external AI services without API keys, subscriptions, or human approval for every request. When an agent receives a task, it identifies the capability it needs, discovers relevant services through ENSv2, and uses live on-chain data from The Graph to compare providers based on factors such as activity, usage, pricing, and reliability. The agent then autonomously selects the best provider for the task. The chosen service is protected by x402 and returns an HTTP 402 payment request. The agent pays the required amount in HBAR on Hedera, Blocky402 verifies the payment, and the service executes and returns the result. This creates a complete machine-to-machine workflow where discovery, decision-making, payment, and service execution happen without a human in the loop.
How it's made
We built the system as an autonomous routing layer connecting ENSv2, The Graph, Hedera, and x402. ENSv2 provides hierarchical identity and discovery for AI service providers, including their capabilities, endpoints, and payment information. The Graph indexes on-chain provider activity and usage data, which our routing agent queries to evaluate and rank available services instead of blindly selecting the cheapest endpoint. The agent uses these signals together with task requirements and pricing to make the provider-selection decision. Once a provider is selected, the request is sent to its x402-gated endpoint. A HTTP 402 response contains the payment requirements, the agent signs and submits the HBAR payment on Hedera, and Blocky402 verifies the transaction before the service is unlocked. We built the orchestration, provider scoring, service registry/discovery flow, payment flow, and frontend ourselves, with the partner technologies serving as core infrastructure rather than optional integrations.
