Agent FUEL
stake wNEWS tokens as leverage to power other agents that can grow their business

About
Agent Fuel is outcome-financed AI capacity for small businesses that already have customers. Small companies rarely get a revolver — the line of credit a PE-backed company draws when it's short — so they end up in merchant-cash-advance loans at effective rates that can reach 1,500% APR. Agent Fuel replaces that with a staged, evidence-gated facility on Base: wNEWS holders stake into one specific, time-boxed intervention inside a business (clear an onboarding backlog, open a channel, relieve a bottleneck); the business pays a small fee now and a premium only on attested lift; AI agents do bounded work under limits the business and the funder set for themselves. Price and market depth come from the canonical wNEWS/USDC Uniswap v3 pool, indexed by a The Graph subgraph and served to agents through an MCP built for this event. Agent-to-agent payments settle on Arc by Circle through a capped wNEWS bridge (testnet today, mainnet to follow), and every contract's admin key lives on a Ledger — it can pause inflows or attest a settlement, never touch a stake. Capital is released in steps: at each evidence date the decision is stop, hold, continue, or accelerate, and declining costs nothing. Every funding event is one canonical intervention record rendered six ways — business, operator, agent, customer steward, capital supporter, auditor — so no party is shown different economics. Live now: the stake contract on Base mainnet and the first real stake, made from a phone through a Telegram mini app.
How it's made
Contracts are deliberately small Solidity 0.8 with no dependencies, Slither-clean, and hardware-administered. On Base mainnet: EngagementStake — stake, on-chain per-wallet auto-approve cap, exit that can never be paused, admin-attested settle, immutable. On Arc by Circle (testnet; mainnet when Circle publishes parameters): the wNEWS bridge pair — BaseLocker vault and WNewsBridge with a hard 100k mint cap and pause-never-blocks-exits — plus AttestedPrice and ServiceLedger for goal-attributed agent-to-agent payments; Arc's USDC-native gas is what makes small agent payments practical. A Ledger holds the admin role on every contract and the treasury; the deployer key has no post-deploy power, and an ERC-7730 clear-signing descriptor for the stake contract is in the repo. The Graph: a subgraph on the canonical wNEWS/USDC Uniswap v3 pool computes spot and "credibility" (the largest sell that printed under 5% impact), cross-checked against the Messari standardized subgraph; a TypeScript MCP server written during the event (Streamable HTTP on Cloud Run) exposes it as agent tools — credibility, company status, threat report, allocation quote, intervention response, and a six-audience intervention statement. The human side is a Telegram bot plus a React/Vite mini app (Reown AppKit, wagmi, viem): wallets are proven by a signed message, several per person, the page pins the contract address and decodes the calldata before it lets you hold-to-sign, and every read goes through Telegram-authenticated endpoints — no client-side database. The listener (Node, Firestore, Cloud Scheduler) confirms every approval against the chain receipt and keeps an append-only event log for playback. Hacks worth noting: a nonce-per-attempt link flow so chat buttons never go stale, and a native-scheme-first deep link because Telegram's webview swallows WalletConnect's redirect.
