    About

The problem it solves ZK Inheritance is a decentralized inheritance management system that ensures secure, private, and automated asset distribution using blockchain and zero-knowledge proofs. The main problem it solves is that no one knows who inherited what, ensuring complete privacy in the inheritance process. Users can create and store wills, with assets locked in a smart contract. Upon verification of the owner’s passing by an assigned lawyer, heirs securely claim their inheritance without exposing sensitive data. Transactions are transparent, immutable, and automated, ensuring a fair and trustless process

    How it's made

Challenges we ran into So far, we have developed a Rust smart contract for Arbitrum Stylus, and the next step is to fully integrate it into the system. This will allow users to choose which chain they want to process their inheritance on, whether through Arbitrum EVM (Solidity contract, currently live) or Arbitrum Stylus (Rust contract, in progress). A key focus will be benchmarking performance differences between the two implementations to determine the most efficient solution. Beyond that, one of our next major upgrades will be integrating EDUChain into our system. This will enable AI-driven inheritance distribution support, helping users optimize their asset allocation. Additionally, testaments will be recorded as NFTs on EDUChain, ensuring immutability and secure digital ownership of inheritance records.
