Web for AI-Agent Navigation & Commerce Standard

making AI agent interaction easy with web2 - WAANCS

    About

The problem it solves A New Standard for AI Agents to Navigate and Interact with Websites Currently, there is no universal standard that allows AI agents to systematically interact with websites, navigate paths, perform commerce actions, or respect site owner preferences. In Web2, every website utilizes: • robots.txt – to tell search engines what to crawl and what to ignore. • schema.json – to provide structured data for better search indexing. However, Web3 and AI-driven interactions require a new layer of machine-readable, permissioned, and commerce-enabled navigation. 🔥 Why This Standard is Needed? 1. AI-Friendly Navigation – Helps AI agents understand the structure of a website and how to interact with it. 2. Action-Based Permissioning – Site owners can grant or block AI agent actions. 3. AI Commerce Integration – Enables token-based access, microtransactions, and automated commerce. 4. Decentralized & Open – Works for Web3 dApps, AI-driven platforms, and decentralized commerce. User Interaction and Data Flow A JSON-based file (agents.json) is hosted on every website. • This file defines: 1. Navigation Rules – AI agents can see the website structure and allowed actions. 2. Commerce Actions – AI can perform transactions, purchases, and payments if permitted. 3. Access Control – Site owners can allow/deny AI agents for specific interactions. 4. Web3 & AI Payment Integration – AI agents must pay in tokens to access premium services. The project architecture and development process Idea is build a npm package / react package that a developer can use in website and expose any action in agents.json . For the end AI agent it will a single agents.json Key differentiators and uniqueness of the project AI-Native Navigation Rules • Defines paths AI can access (allowed_paths) and restricted areas (restricted_paths). • Priority levels ensure AI focuses on important pages. • AI agents can automatically adapt to different website structures. Action-Based Permissions • Site owners can approve/block AI agents for specific actions. • AI can add items to cart, retrieve product info, or checkout only if allowed. Web3 Payments & Tokenized AI Commerce • AI agents must pay tokens (e.g., QAI, ETH) to access services. • Payments are on-chain and processed via smart contracts. Example Use Cases: ✅ AI agent pays 10 QAI to access premium research. ✅ Automated AI trader buys an NFT only if it passes QuillCheck security tests. AI Transaction Simulation & Risk Prevention • AI agents must run a risk assessment before executing transactions. • Uses QuillCheck to check for rug pulls, slippage, or admin risk. Intellectual Property (IP) Protection via Story Protocol • Every agents.json file is registered on Story Protocol as on-chain IP. • This allows version tracking, licensing, and AI-compliant copyright
