The problem it solves This application allows simple and university event management. I have seen the whole process of how an event (workshop, hackathon, or meetup) gets approved in a university/college and how it involves a lot of parties, where some parties can be biased and may not approve certain proposals only because of their biasedness towards a particular club/student. There should exist a better way to get the events approved with proper checks and balances, so here is UnBlock. The idea behind this application is quite simple: all the authorising bodies will register themselves on the application. Let us assume that there are 4 different parties involved: club, Club, Club Mentor, Student Cabinet, Cabinet mentor, now all of them will get themselves registered and anyone would be able to see their public addresses, the flow would be the same, it is just that now each party would need to specify a proper reason if they are not willing to approve any particular event.
How it's made
Challenges we ran into The main hurdle was to make sure that the functions run properly, that the addresses should get fetched properly, and only authorised persons can perform certain actions. I encountered this problem and discovered that there was some problem with the modifier in the smart contract.I had to check the smart contract thoroughly and had to make appropriate changes to solve the issue.
