What people can use it for 🕺 As a user You’ll be able to listen to music for free and support your favorite artists, knowing they receive a larger share of the revenue. Enjoy on-demand music on any device, with a smooth experience free from blockchain’s technical complexities. Plus, minting is gamified: after a certain number of mints, you can earn badges or other rewards chosen by the artist. 👨🎤 As an artist Tuneport provides you with more control, independence, and fair compensation. You’ll earn more through minting and sales on our marketplace, with the freedom to choose SOLANA or other blockchains, add extra content or concert tickets, and protect your music from illegal downloads through our innovative streaming. Unlike platforms like Spotify, ads on Tuneport are not mandatory. Artists can choose to include ads, with a maximum of one or two 15-second ads. 🎧 As a record label You’ll have tools to upload massive catalogs and migrate seamlessly to our platform. We’re also developing a B2B model to support your business growth. How it makes existing tasks easier Tuneport simplifies direct monetization and fan engagement, removing middlemen and providing flexible revenue options for creators. How it's made
Challenges we ran into One of the biggest challenges in building Tuneport was integrating on-demand streaming with a user-friendly interface while maintaining a smooth, uninterrupted experience. Achieving this on a platform that also uses blockchain for revenue distribution presented several technical obstacles, especially balancing security with ease of use. A specific issue we encountered was making the minting and payment process intuitive for users, many of whom are unfamiliar with blockchain concepts. To address this, we simplified the user flow design and added clear guides at each step, removing unnecessary steps and automating complex settings. This allowed us to provide a more accessible experience for users and enable artists to manage their revenue options without complications.
