The problem it solves Trueshot is live on iOS, with a mini app available in Farcaster and the Base app. It provides a simple, secure way to prove an image or video is real, unedited, and captured at a specific moment in time. Each shot is verified, timestamped, and anchored on-chain... so anyone, from journalists and activists to insurers, auditors and everyday users, can prove authenticity beyond doubt. As demand for Proof of Human grows in an AI-saturated world, Trueshot is positioned to be the trusted standard for proving not just what happened, but that it was captured by a real person, in a real moment. Verified images and videos can be released as edition mints, allowing creators to share authentic moments at scale while preserving proof of origin. Through the mini apps, these moments can be shared on the Base app and Farcaster timelines, where they can then be collected by others.. with the majority of proceeds flowing back to the creator. How it's made
Challenges we ran into A major challenge was protecting the integrity of the minting process. We needed to ensure that only images captured through Trueshot could be minted to our smart contract. This required designing a secure, tamper-proof verification flow and conducting meticulous testing across multiple environments to guarantee that no external or manipulated media could be minted as authentic. Another hurdle was camera image quality in certain use cases. The Camera Web API used in our mini apps is convenient and fast, but for users requiring higher resolution and more control, such as journalists, insurers, or legal professionals... we built native mobile apps with custom camera pipelines. This provides the same seamless verification but with enhanced image quality and additional functionality for those who need it.
