About
The problem it solves We believe that most Web3 events have traditionally been tech-heavy and lacked a fun vibe. With finally the introduction of fun and engaging on-chain consumer products like Farcaster, we saw an opportunity to change that. That's why we hosted a series of lively community events across four cities. Our goal was to demonstrate how being on-chain can be both fun and valuable through innovative products like Base and Farcaster, and vibrant communities like Nouns DAO.
How it's made
Challenges we ran into The major challenge we faced while creating awareness about being on-chain was a lack of understanding among the folks about 'Why Web3' matters. Most community members are already familiar with what blockchains and cryptocurrencies are, but they often don't grasp Why this matters. To address this, we shared stories highlighting the potential harms of centralized control and how Web3 can change the landscape forever.
