Challenges we ran into Challenges I Ran Into : 1. Handling Hallucination in LLMs: Large Language Models occasionally produce inaccurate or irrelevant responses (hallucinations), which could mislead users. Solution: Implemented Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) to fetch accurate, real-time data from trusted sources, ensuring reliable responses with proper attribution. 2. Discord Integration Complexity: Setting up robust and customizable notifications within Discord while maintaining a seamless user experience was challenging. Solution: Utilized the Discord.py library to build a modular notification system that allowed users to configure alerts based on their preferences. 3. Decentralized Participation with Flock.io: Integrating Flock.io for decentralized decision-making and alignment with community ethics required a deep understanding of its API. Solution: Collaborated with the Flock.io community to understand API usage better and conducted extensive testing to ensure smooth integration. 4. Optimizing AI Model Performance: Balancing cost-efficiency while maintaining high-quality insights and recommendations was a hurdle. Solution: Leveraged lightweight, domain-specific embeddings with RAG, reducing the need for frequent retraining while still providing precise outputs. These challenges pushed me to explore innovative solutions, leading to a more reliable, efficient, and user-friendly product.
