    About

The problem it solves **The problem Stako solves** Stako solves the problem of financial barriers and limited access to global stock markets for everyday investors, particularly in Southeast Asia. It bridges the gap between local currency (IDRX) and global assets through blockchain technology, making wealth creation accessible to everyone. **Core Problems Addressed:** **1. High Barriers to Entry** Traditional stock investing often requires high minimum deposits, complex brokerage account approvals, and significant capital to buy whole shares of expensive tech stocks. Stako eliminates this barrier by offering Fractional Ownership, allowing anyone to own pieces of high-value global companies (like Apple or Tesla) starting from just $1 worth of IDRX. **2. Geographic & Currency Friction** For many investors (e.g., in Indonesia), accessing the US stock market involves expensive currency conversion fees, complex international wire transfers, and long settlement times. Stako solves this by integrating IDRX (Indonesian Rupiah Stablecoin) directly, enabling seamless swaps from local currency stability to global asset growth without the forex headache. **3. Lack of Transparency & Ownership** In traditional finance, brokers hold the custody of assets, and users often have little visibility into the settlement process. Stako provides Self-Custody, giving users full ownership of their assets in their Web3 wallets. Every transaction is recorded on the Lisk Layer 2 blockchain, ensuring total transparency and audibility. **4. Inefficient Settlement Systems** Traditional markets operate on T+2 settlement cycles and restricted trading hours. Stako leverages blockchain technology for Instant Settlement and enables users to interact with their portfolio 24/7, removing the latency and "waiting periods" associated with legacy banking. **What People Can Use It For:** **1. Micro-Investing & Wealth Building**: Users with limited capital can start building a diversified portfolio of global stocks immediately, investing small amounts regularly (DCA) without being penalized by high fees or minimums. **2. Portfolio Diversification**: Investors can easily hedge against local economic volatility or inflation by holding tokenized assets pegged to the performance of the strongest global companies and ETFs. **3. Cross-Border Asset Management**: Users can manage, transfer, or gift stock assets instantly within the Lisk ecosystem without the friction of cross-border banking regulations. **4. DeFi Composability**: As tokenized assets, these stocks can potentially be used in wider DeFi applications (like collateral for loans) within the Lisk ecosystem, unlocking capital efficiency that traditional stocks cannot offer. **How It Makes Tasks Easier and Safer:** **- Easier**: Stako streamlines the investment process into a "Web3 native" experience. There are no lengthy paper forms or multi-day approval processes. Users simply Connect Wallet, Deposit IDRX, and Swap for stocks. The interface enables "One-Click" investing similar to a simple token swap, making the stock market as easy to access as a crypto exchange. **- Safer**: Stako combines the best of both worlds: the security of blockchain and regulatory compliance. **- Trust:** Assets are 100% backed by real-world reserves and audited, so the token value is always pegged to the real stock. **- Control:** Non-custodial design means users do not rely on a centralized exchange to hold their funds; they hold the keys to their own assets. **- Security:** Built on the Lisk L2, benefiting from Ethereum-grade security while keeping transaction costs negligible. **Our Solution** The Cross-Chain RWA Intent Engine enables users to buy tokenized stocks (like AAPLon) on Ethereum from Lisk L2 with just one click and users simply submit their intent with IDRX on Lisk, and the system automatically handles bridging via Chainlink CCIP, swapping to stock tokens, and depositing to a secure Vault on Ethereum, eliminating all the complexity of manual cross-chain operations

    How it's made

Challenges we ran into **Challenge 1: Abstracting Option Vault Complexity** **- Problem:** Thetanuts Finance v4 (our underlying protocol) is powerful but incredibly complex for retail users. Concepts like "Strike Price", "Expiry", and "Delta" are intimidating. **- Solution:** We built a dedicated "Abstraction Layer" in our UI. Users simply see "APY" and "Risk Level". We moved all the derivative math to the backend/smart contract interactions. **- Learning:** Great DeFi UX isn't about dumbing things down, it's about context. Users care about outcomes (Yield), not the plumbing (Greek letters). **Challenge 2: Realistic AI Advisory** **- Problem:** Most "DeFi Chatbots" prone to hallucinations or giving dangerous financial advice. We needed Nova to be helpful but safe. **- Solution:** We prompt-engineered Nova specifically as a "Risk Assessor", not a "Financial Advisor". We fed it specific context about Vultara's vault mechanics so it explains how the yield is generated, rather than predicting future prices. **- Learning:** Constraining an AI often makes it more useful. A specialized tool beats a general chatbot. **Challenge 3: Mobile-First DeFi Interface** **- Problem:** Most DeFi dashboards break on mobile. Tables overflow, charts get squished, and "Connect Wallet" flow is janky. **- Solution:** We adopted a "Mobile-Obsessed" approach. We replaced traditional data tables with modular cards. We fixed iOS input zooming issues. We optimized touch targets for every button. **- Learning:** The next billion users will access DeFi from a phone, not a desktop with 3 monitors. Mobile UX is non-negotiable. **Challenge 4: Simulating Mainnet Conditions on Testnet** **- Problem:** Real option premiums rely on active market makers, which don't exist on Lisk Sepolia testnet. The "Yield" would look like 0%. **- Solution:** We created a simulation engine for the frontend demo. It pulls real historical data from ETH options markets to project realistic APY scenarios, clearly labeled as "Simulated Data" for transparency. **- Learning:** Transparency is key. It's better to show realistic simulations than broken live data during a hackathon.
