The problem it solves We all know that the platforms where we listen to music often pay artists unfairly. That’s why many musicians turned to Web3, to cut out the middlemen and connect directly with their fans. But there are still major limitations: today, there are almost no platforms where you can listen to music onchain, and many artists still don’t have simple tools to mint their songs. Shine offers a real solution: it allows artists to create digital collectibles of their music, and users to listen for free*,even with their phone locked and without leaving Warpcast. Plus, fans of the social network can keep casting while listening to music, blending the social and listening experience in one place. *Some features may be subject to change as the platform evolves. In parallel to this miniapp, we're also building a desktop application that has already won recent hackathons — including first place in three tracks at the Avalanche Summit last year. How it's made

Challenges we ran into Over the years, we’ve analyzed the models of various platforms aimed at attracting and retaining users who create and collect onchain art. We believe one of the major challenges in the cryptoart ecosystem has always been integrating platform use **naturally** into users’ daily routines. That’s why Shine seeks not only to enable the creation and monetization of content, but also to offer seamless integration within a platform like **Warpcast** where users can engage with Shine while browsing, or even with their phone locked, using it as a music player. Another significant challenge we’ve observed is the difficulty in capturing users outside the crypto niche. User experience is often hindered by cognitive barriers that prevent a good idea from becoming a successful platform. At Shine, we're putting a strong focus on design and technology to ensure that a massive industry like music, and its digital sales formats, can adopt the benefits of blockchain such as payments, data handling, and content ownership. Our strategy begins with building a solid initial user base within Warpcast. While it may not yet have mass adoption, as the founders of MúsicaW3, the largest Latin American onchain music community, we already have a strong network of users and collectors to give the project a powerful initial boost. This allows us to overcome the first major hurdle: acquiring a base of early users to launch and start testing the platform. Our community itself serves as a **use case** and a feedback loop to continue delivering value and promoting the platform’s capabilities through a win-win model.
