ShadowNotes
Login, Locked tight
About
The problem it solves **1. What People Can Use It For** **Take & Organize Notes ** Store personal, work, or study notes securely on a decentralized backend. **Access Anywhere ** Log in from any device with Google, no wallet installation needed. **Keep Notes Private** Only the user can access their notes, with zkLogin protecting identities and hiding wallet addresses. **2. How It Makes Tasks Easier or Safer** **No Setup Hassle** Uses familiar Web2 logins, skipping crypto complexity. **End-to-End Privacy** Prevents third-party tracking or unauthorized access. **Web3 Security in a Familiar App ** Brings blockchain-grade safety to everyday note-taking. **3. Problem it Solves** **Privacy Risks** Most note apps store data in readable form on centralized servers, making them vulnerable to hacks and leaks. **Complex Web3 Access ** Blockchain privacy tools require wallets and seed phrases, creating a steep learning curve. **Identity Exposure** Traditional logins link notes to real identities, risking personal data if breached.
How it's made
Challenges we ran into We had a hard time integrating zkLogin into our app. It was tricky to connect the Google login with the Zero-Knowledge Proof system, and we kept getting errors like proof verification failing and tokens not matching. For this hackathon version, our app is running fully on Web2 using Google OAuth and a secure Laravel backend. The Web3 part, including zkLogin integration, Sui address creation, and on-chain note minting, will be added in our future development.
