How it's made
Challenges we ran into Challenges I Ran Into ## 1. High Gas Costs & Smart Contract Issues Problem: High minting fees; missing ERC721Enumerable interface. Solution: Moved SVG/JSON metadata to IPFS (web3.storage) so that only links were passed to the contract rather than full data. A new contract was made with a correct implementation of ERC721Enumerable. Impact: Lowered gas fees for minting by 5-10x. ## 2. Late Smart Wallet Integration & State Management Problem: Integrated late into development process using deprecated Create React App, package conflicts rose. React state desynchronization was faced on rendering of redeemed NFTs. Solution: Used wagmi with coinbaseWallet connector for Smart Wallet integration. Planning migration to Vite/Next.js to support modern Web3 packages more easily. Future Fix: Proper batching of state will eliminate race conditions seen in gift card display update.
