E-commerce dApp to sell products without intermediaries 💰

    About

Why are you participating for Based LatAm? For the thrill of coding something out of thin air, and to get some funding for developing my projects, while looking for talented people to help me make them a reality. While doing this project, I noticed Talent Protocol doesn't have a job/freelancer market, and thought of pivoting my project to that, but didn't have enough time to make another dapp during the hackathon. We can talk about that later if you're interested! Additional Features OnchainKit Avatar, Basename, FundButton, Send, Receive, Convert from coinbase, and did some improvements on UI and README

    How it's made

What challenges are you focusing on? Help people sell products without intermediaries while paying with crypto 💰 How does your submission address this challenge? BasedShop enables uploading your products and paying for them with ETH (ERC20's coming soon). You can onramp from fiat to ETH using the FundButton from OnchainKit, and you can also send, receive and convert your crypto with Coinbase tools. You can search for users by Basename, ENS or address, add a profile description with a bio and an email for contact after sale, and there are many other goodies around the repo if you play around. If you find a bug, it's probably a feature too :) Challenges we ran into I had a difficult time integrating the OnchainKit directly to scaffold-eth 2 and replacing the RainbowKit one, but luckily I found the onchainkit extension for scaffold-eth 2 (https://github.com/scaffold-eth/create-eth-extensions/tree/onchainkit) and after starting a new repo with that, it was all about migrating my previous repo and making things look and work nice. One thing I didn't like and could be implemented at protocol level is that basenames and avatars don't show in Base Sepolia, which makes my presentation look worse than it should, but I show that when switching to base the appropiate info shows up. Hope you like it!
