The problem it solves ## The Problem -> Tampering of documents. Sensitive documents must be made tamper proof. -> Risks involved in storing and managing documents in centralised storages -> Absence of a universal plugin for dApps to showcase only selected NFT documents of users. -> Absence of a reliable tool to validate the issuer and receiver of NFT documents in web3 space -> Difficulty for organisations to save, manage and deploy their documents over the blockchain network. ## How Pindown Solves the Problems -> Organisations or even individual users can upload their documents to any preferred blockchain network. -> Uploaded documents can be seamlessly managed and shared by both issuer and receiver. -> Validity of documents can be ensured by verifying both issuer and receiver (comes under the validation flow) -> Users can pin-down selected documents to hide them from being shared. (Future scope : This solution can be plugged in by any dApp) -> Simple user login flow to reduce friction between common users and web3 space.
How it's made
Challenges we ran into ## Some Interesting Challenges we ran Into - While integrating the WalletConnect feature, an updation in the library created a break in our user sign-in flow where network switching and redirection to the platform wasn't working properly. An updation to the latest version of WalletConnect solved the issue. - Relayer for auto pay of gas fees: We had to integrate a custom relayer network such that the contract pays for itself. This was a major research we had to do to ensure good UX. Thankfully we were able to tackle this with Openzeppelin defender.
