    Phelgaria

Phelgaria is a revolutionary video game built on Flow blockchain, featuring NFTs and strategic gameplay with battles against both other players and the computer.

    About

The problem it solves The Phelgaria video game based on NFTs solves several problems in the gaming industry. Firstly, it offers investor protection by ensuring that the floor prices of NFTs do not decrease in value. This function built into the smart contract controls the minimum sale price and cannot be lower than the division of the number of items in the pack/price paid. This means that investors can always count on a fair floor price, which creates trust and reliability in the project. Secondly, the game adds value to NFTs by allowing players to use them as investment tools. By placing NFTs in the investment system, an AI can generate a portfolio that will be wrapped to the NFTs. This means that the value of the collectible serves not only as experience, usability, and fun inside the platform but also as a savings and investment tool. This creates a new paradigm in the gaming industry, where players can not only enjoy the game but also benefit financially from their investments. Finally, Phelgaria aims to be a long-lasting project by using 80% of the funds generated in the pre-sale to create a node on the Flow blockchain. This helps the ecosystem stay safe, maintains network stability, and generates rewards. Those rewards will be used to develop the game and monthly tournaments

    How it's made

Challenges we ran into It has been a challenge to participate in this hackathon, as much of the flow documentation is in English, with very little updated content and poorly organized. Many of the tutorials I tried to follow in order to replicate things in my development environment did not execute correctly. I was only able to write the code for my contract, but I never knew how to deploy it, add functions, or interact with it. Learning all of that in such a short time has been a real challenge, but there is a need for more resources that one can use to develop properly.
