    About

The problem it solves **The Problem PeridotVault Solves** Game distribution today is centralized, expensive, and restrictive. Indie developers face high publishing fees, limited visibility, and loss of control over their games and users. Players, on the other hand, never truly own what they buy—games and in-game items can be revoked, altered, or locked inside closed platforms. Web3 gaming promises ownership, but in reality it is fragmented, difficult to use, and plagued by poor UX, high gas fees, and scattered game libraries. As a result, both traditional developers and mainstream gamers struggle to adopt it. **How PeridotVault Solves It?** 1. PeridotVault is a next-generation gaming distribution platform that combines true digital ownership, low-cost publishing, and AI-powered discovery. 2. Developers can publish games affordably without gatekeepers 3. Players truly own games and in-game assets on-chain 4. A built-in wallet and unified library remove Web3 complexity 5. AI personalization improves game discovery and community safety *PeridotVault makes game publishing fairer, ownership real, and gaming platforms open by design.* **Smart Contract Lists:** 1. How it's made

Challenges we ran into The main challenge was designing a hybrid on-chain/off-chain architecture that could significantly reduce gas fees while still preserving trust, ownership, and scalability. Supporting a future multichain ecosystem added complexity, as the system had to remain flexible without locking into a single blockchain model. Another major hurdle was reverse-engineering and researching existing game distribution platforms such as Steam and Epic Games to understand how they handle game libraries, licensing, downloads, and user experience—then translating those centralized patterns into a decentralized and trust-minimized architecture. **Solution:** I addressed these challenges by adopting a hybrid design where critical ownership and verification logic lives on-chain, while performance-heavy operations run off-chain, and by abstracting blockchain differences behind a unified platform architecture inspired by proven Web2 distribution models.
