The problem it solves Pensions a re a HUGE and growing problem. Since the earliest of times humans have had a profound desire to feel safe and protected from uncertainty. Currently, there’s more than 1 billion people aged 60 or more in the world. By the year 2050, its projected to double to 2.1 billion. Back in 2019, a global pension deficit of US$15 trillion dollars was estimated only in the top 20 largest economies in the world. We now have some reasons to believe it is much more. Yet, traditional pension systems dont hold up to their promise and are up to big distress. How it's made
Challenges we ran into VIBECODED FRONT For the front we initially used Bolt New but then decided to switch to V0 for easier use. This was a challenge because as you prompt changes in the front, it can change the whole backend and smart contracts PAYMENT AUTOMATION An obstacle when carrying out the project was finding a way to automate monthly payments in the smart contract, but this was resolved when adding Chainlink, which will check every day to see if a payment needs to be made to a person. SIMPLE UX PRODUCT DESIGN Hurdle: Pensions are often perceived as complex financial products. A major challenge is to design an app that makes retirement planning easy to understand and encourages consistent user engagement. Solution: Focusing on a clear and simple user interface (UI). Just simulate how much pension you want, for how long do you want it, connect wallet and deposit requiered amount. In traditional systems it is very hard to know 1) know the number 2) achieve it inmediately, whithout any paper work in between.
