The problem it solves Many cryptocurrency holders face a major challenge: while they own digital assets, using them for everyday expenses like airtime, electricity, or internet bills is often inconvenient or impossible without first converting to fiat. This process is slow, costly, and sometimes unavailable in certain regions. Additionally, most existing solutions require users to trust third parties with custody of their funds, creating security risks. As a result, crypto remains underutilized in daily life, limiting its real-world value. PayCrypt solves this by enabling direct, instant, and secure bill payments from users’ wallets — no intermediaries, no unnecessary conversions, and no loss of control. How it's made
Challenges we ran into Our greatest challenge so far has been securing reliable VTU (Virtual Top-Up) APIs to power utility payments. Many providers required lengthy approval processes, high setup fees, or lacked the necessary crypto integration support. This initially slowed down our development and testing timeline. Fortunately, through networking within blockchain and fintech communities, we connected with reputable API providers willing to collaborate on flexible terms. By demonstrating our platform’s potential and aligning with their growth objectives, we secured affordable, high-quality API access. This breakthrough allowed us to move from prototype to full MVP, ensuring stable and instant payment processing for our users.
