Why are you participating for Based LatAm? With the correct implementation of blockchain solutions that address critical failure points in this and many other industries, we can potentially set new standards, ensuring operational and cost efficiencies by creating new business models and revenue streams. I believe that it only takes connecting minds to create and implement amazing ideas and change the current landscape as more people have direct interaction with the crypto ecosystem in their daily activities. The amazing tools and implementations that Base has made are paving the way for true mass adoption to be achieved sooner than expected. It will be through Base that the entire world will learn about the potential of these technologies. The parabolic growth of adoption metrics on this layer 2 solution shows the years of hard work that have been put in place since Brian Armstrong’s secret master plan was devised. This project addresses critical industry issues that I know firsthand as my wife is an environmentalist and works as a waste management broker for a multinational company operating in Mexico. My wife and I together conceived this solution which has many more subsequent implementations and customized solutions applicable to each industry participant. Our primary focus is the environment as we know first-hand the pollution generated by the poor handling and management of both hazardous and inert and harmless waste. Most people do not care about what happens to their waste once it is disposed of. It is a critical problem that needs an urgent solution and few people have access to the data needed to measure the extent of current bad practices in the industry. This Buildathon is a great oportunity for everyone to get to know what we can achieve using Base infrastructure, including persons like me, with low to zero knowledge in progamming and writing smart contracts. Personally I am beyond excited imagining all that I can build thanks to these amazing tools. Base for everyone. I will continue building this solution until its done.

What challenges are you focusing on? -Zero traceability of industrial hazardous and non hazardous waste. -High administrative costs, which undermine inherent materials value and renenue for all stakeholders. -Lack of regulation compliance which leads to corruption and pollution. -Unequal Market opportunities for every party. -High volatility in materials prices due to demand and supply shocks thanks to mismanagement. -Landfill accumulation. -Lack of instant payment settlement. -Ancient Bureaucatic inefficient paper-based documentation processes. and the list goes on... How does your submission address this challenge? With the technologies provided by Base, we could implement several improvements in all the stages of the supply chain. from ERC-1155 token standard for Material Batch processing, batch transactions, and paymaster sponsored fees we can develop a sustainable system for traceability purposes. BNS ENS-like implementation for Human readable identification of stakeholders facilities, personnel and transport units. Smart wallets for on-the-go traceabiliy and quality control with the most user-friendly onboarding system currently deployed. Cutting to almost Zero the administrative/brokerage cost, the value of the materials itself rises, incrementing revenue for all stakeholders. This could be a high demand service. Providing a decentralized marketplace platform we grant access to all kinds and sizes of service providers and generators, at the same time stabilizing prices and revenue inflows. Ensuring correct disposal of waste materials we avoid current landfill accumulation, because many materials could be recycled or reused. Implementing NFTs as digital environmental certificates, replacing current Manifests inefficient method, we could ensure regulation compliance and the waste generators can prove their sustainability efforts. the Graph CLI for blockchain data indexing. Chainlink oracles for off-chain market prices. And sooner IoT devices, development and integration for real-time tracking. Challenges we ran into Mostly coding and programming issues due to my lack of experience, and regarding time and deadlines too, because I joined late into the buildathon. something I did notice as a newbie is the problem with dependencies versions, someones are not supported by hardhat and other environments. I wasn´t comfortable handling my private key just for my first attempt building an app, then I tried to use Wallet SDK but it keeps showing critical failures, and errors, the only infra providers available are alchemy and infura. where are the options?
