The problem it solves Fashion discovery online is scattered across multiple platforms — Pinterest, Instagram, TikTok — none of which are truly built for **fashion-first social discovery** or integrated with onchain incentives. Outfitly(aka basedOutfits) solves this by making fashion browsing **native to Farcaster**, letting users discover, collect, and organize outfits into onchain Wardrobes while also supporting creators directly with USDC tips. * **For users**: one place to curate inspiration into private/public boards. * **For creators**: an easy way to showcase outfits and earn directly from their audience. * **For the ecosystem**: a new vertical for Farcaster miniapps beyond memes and trading — **social fashion onchain**. How it's made

Challenges we ran into The hardest challenge was designing an onboarding flow that felt **fun, sleek, and instantly understandable**. Unlike DeFi apps, where the value is financial, fashion is about aesthetics and ease. I iterated multiple times to reduce friction in onboarding ( step-by-step flows) while making sure users understood **collecting costs a small USDC fee**. On the technical side: - Managing **media-heavy content** (outfit photos) while staying performant in a mobile-first miniapp environment was tricky. I optimized images and applied smooth scrolling patterns inspired by Twitter to nail the feel.
