    Builder Gate

We built asystem where builders prove their impact

    About

The problem it solves [Demo](https://youtube.com/shorts/41iemulRrwg?feature=share) **Ecosystem treasuries are sitting on billions in idle capital. ** Yet **builders**, the ones actually pushing the ecosystem forward are stuck applying to grants, chasing governance votes, and waiting weeks (or months) to receive support. This system is: - Slow and resource-intensive for foundations - Distracting and demotivating for developers - Prone to favoritism, bottlenecks, and inefficiency Treasuries remain inactive. Builders remain underfunded. Innovation slows down. ## ✅ The Solution We built a **reputation-gated vault system** powered by **Octant v2** that lets treasuries reward builders **automatically, using yield not governance.** ### Here's how it works: - Treasuries connect their Safe multisig to our **BuilderVault** using a lightweight Safe Module - Capital stays in their wallet only the **yield is routed** into programmable funding logic - Builders prove their impact with: - GitHub profile score - Talent Protocol builder score - Human verification via Self (QR SDK) - Our **Tokenized Allocation Mechanism (TAM)** validates these proofs and distributes yield based on contribution - Builders must renew their proof every epoch, ensuring rewards go to those actively building No forms. No manual reviews. No politics. Just real builders, real output, and real yield. ## Why it matters - No human admin needed. - No misaligned incentives. - No slow decision cycles. - Rewards flow automatically based on proof-of-work, not social capital. - In the future, we’ll support zk-TLS proofs for private data.

    How it's made

Challenges we ran into We faced several challenges in understanding how Octant v2 works and how to properly integrate our idea into its ecosystem. We were able to overcome them thanks to support from the hackathon mentors and by diving into community resources and videos we found on YouTube.
