Why are you participating for Based LatAm? We are participating because we understand the ability that web 3 tools have to transform and improve people's quality of life. We want to focus especially on impacting the art scene, e-games and entrepreneurs that will be participating on different activations at the Nouns Center BTA. We have firsthand experience in the potential that latinamerican artists, creators and entreperneurs have to share with the onchain world. Since we started working within Nouns DAO and Nouns Amigos community two years ago, we have seen the impact these tools have on the people who have been succesfully onboarded by us, demostrating that everyone can be Onchain. Creatives have the capacity of flowrishing on their own in the different web3 ecosystems including plastic artists, animators, designers, beatmakers, freestylers, bboys and bgirls... we want to expand the impact that we have been doing in the cultural and freelance scene to integrate more and more people from different groups and bridge the gap between IRL world and Onchain communities doing good and having fun on the ride. So creating this passport and the NFT integration for validating their achivments, the different types of builders at Nouns Center BTA, will notice that everything is easier than they think and they will be navigating on web 3 easerly and more fluent with the time. The Smart contract will be open source, so anyone that wants to use it on their own events can do it to validate their participants on a specific event or activation. Additional Features For the Base buildathon we want to incorporate Base Network as an ally of the Nounish Center, turning it into the Nouns/Base Center BTA. With this alliance we'll make more activations in the Nouns Center for the IRL people to get Onchain: Podcast and Base Sessions in Nouns Center BTA: We’ll invite four colombian bands to our Studio in LAVT “Nouns Center BTA” to a session where we’ll talk in a podcast about the tools that the Base network and Web3 have available to artists, mainly focused in the musical scene to give way to the band for a live showcase of their project. These episodes will be delivered to be uploaded in Base, Nouns and Nouns Center BTA social networks. Explainer videos: Using the Sessions set and the scenery of Base, we want to make three audiovisual pieces in Spanish that explain in a straightforward language: What is Base, what tools they have and case studies of projects made on Base during On Chain Summers for example and prove that everyone can be On Chain. Base Merch: Using the technique of serigraphy and all the options that Taller 108 gives, we will make shirts, prints, tote bags, stickers, among other things to exhibit in the showroom that Nouns Center BTA from the inauguration in november 9 of this year. ¡Nounish Original Designs! “El Desacato Carnavalero” preproduction, Road to Barranquilla Carnival: Our goal is to find a hub where we can build all our carnivals customes and the Nounish/Base float during the month of February. We'll also be hosting several activities to show case the previous month before the carnival the different Onchain tools that Base and Nouns has available for us. The idea is to visit possible locations for our workshop, find the proper one and book it this year, gather all the materials we need for our group to start the work on February, until the carnival inauguration, when we'll unveil the float and costume concept inspired on the Desacato and the Nounish/Base designs, can't miss it!

How it's made

What challenges are you focusing on? The lack of information about Web3 ecosystems oriented to people outside the developer and fintech spheres has made difficult the understanding of onchain technologies and the tools that the ecosystem has available for everyone. Many creatives don't have access to places or spaces where they can learn from knowledgeable people that have similar interests, driving them away from integrating onchain resources like decentralized identity, Defi, crypto funding, Web3 social media and much more. The information available is not clear in demonstrating the capabilities that the technology has for everyday use, or how to integrate the tools to their life and work needs. There is also a lack of content, guides and material in spanish, making it difficult to keep track of all the steps needed to succesfully implement them into their everyday lives. How does your submission address this challenge? Our prop will adrress this challenge by making IRL events focus on art, esport, creators and much more in order to show them that using this tools is easer tha they think. We'll be giving participants a coinbase wallet, a base name and a warpcast account before the event happens. Ones the podcast and the mussic session or the Esports tournament or art residency are finish each participant will recieve an Nouns Center BTA NFT on their wallets to validate their participation. This will be the kickstarter for their web 3 journey and people around the world that notice their impact could star supporting them in many ways. Highlighting the talent of latinamericans builders on web 3 could give them different tools will help their economy, having and onchain identity will verify their who they are and their work, using platforms such as warpcast will give a social media platform that lets them get windows to show case their ideas, their work, their art and recive extra incomes by applying to rounds. Challenges we ran into Lack of economic resources to create content that could reach more people, drop off of interest when learning about the application of new technologies, and the complexities in the process of onboarding. Some onboarding processes need new strategies to simplify the procedures to keep the curiosity and enjoyment of the public, while keeping it time effective to reach more people attentive per session.
