MindVault: Secure, AI-powered mental wellness hub

    About

The problem it solves MindVault tackles one of the biggest challenges in mental health support — accessibility, anonymity, and affordability. People struggling with mental health often face these barriers: High cost of therapy 💰 — Many can’t afford regular sessions. Fear of stigma 😶 — They hesitate to seek help due to social judgment. Limited access to professionals 🌍 — Especially in rural or underserved areas. With MindVault, users can: Vent anonymously through AI-powered journaling and receive coins as rewards. Access affordable, text-based therapy with verified psychologists. Join or create private, token-gated support groups to connect with others who understand. Unlock personalized AI mental wellness agents (NFAs) for 24/7 guidance. Earn or purchase tokens to access therapy sessions, buy mental health eBooks, or create premium support spaces. By blending blockchain transparency, tokenized rewards, and AI-driven personalization, MindVault makes mental wellness easier, safer, and more accessible than ever before.

    How it's made

Challenges we ran into One major challenge was designing the token economy in a way that kept value stable while still rewarding user engagement. Initially, I planned unlimited token purchases, but I realized it would make the system "pay-to-win" and reduce long-term sustainability. To solve this, I: Capped token purchases to 1,000 per month per user. Introduced perks for paid tokens (like group creation without spending earned coins) instead of letting money directly overpower the in-app economy. Balanced rewards by switching from a flat daily bonus to a word-count-based reward system for journaling. This created a fairer, more engaging, and sustainable token ecosystem while still incentivizing participation.
